Female representation is low across parameters, especially for theatrical content. Streaming performs better, but only in relative terms

The fifth edition of the OWomaniya! report, which looks at gender representation in Indian entertainment, is now out. The report, created by Ormax Media & Film Companion Studios, and presented by Prime Video, is our effort to start a conversation towards bringing parity in female representation in the Indian film & OTT industries, both on and off-screen.
