  • The report analyses 169 theatrical and streaming properties released in 2023, on various on-screen and off-screen aspects related to representation of women
  • Female representation is low across parameters, especially for theatrical content. Streaming performs better, but only in relative terms

The report, created by Ormax Media & Film Companion Studios, and presented by Amazon Prime, is our effort to start a conversation towards bringing parity in female representation in the Indian film & OTT industries, both on and off-screen.
